California, a big-time program from the Pac-10, is the latest school to offer Countryside junior OT Tyler Moore a scholarship. The Bears join Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Tennessee and West Virginia.
Nebraska, where his father played, is Moore’s favorite at the moment.
“It’s almost business as usual for that guy,” said Brian Moore, Tyler’s dad. “I think his reaction was, ‘Well, I’m coast to coast now.’ ”
Scout.com, a Web site devoted to football recruiting, recently named the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Moore one of the nation's 100 best juniors.
