Tarpon OL gets offer No. 1

Posted on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at 12:23 a.m.

Minnesota became the first school to offer a scholarship to Tarpon Springs junior OL Zach DeBell (6-7, 250) last week.

DeBell anchors a line that has one back (Adrian Golden) with more than 1,000 rushing yards and another (Darius Daniels) who is getting close to that mark.

"He's got a great upside," Spongers coach George Kotis said. "This is just the start."

I agree sponger. I didn't even know he was a starter. He better start packing some weight on that frame & get stronger if he is going to play as a D-1 lineman.
