Berkeley Prep junior Taylor Richardson, one of Hillsborough County's top girls soccer players, has committed to Vanderbilt.
Richardson, a Times all-Hillsborough County first team selection, selected the Commodores over Duke.
Richardson scored 27 goals and had 6 assists last year for a Berkeley team that went 19-4-2 and advanced to the Class 3A region final.
At Vanderbilt, Richardson will likely play outside marking back, Berkeley coach Ken Roberts said.
"She's just a phenomenal player," Roberts said. "She plays everywhere for us and does so many things, but she's great at really shutting someone down."
Richardson scored four goals, including three in the first 20 minutes, in Berkeley's season opening 8-0 win over Holy Names on Tuesday.
Vanderbilt is 11-8-1 this season and is ranked 46th in the RPI.
