Alonso shortstop Tito Martinez has decided to play at Polk Community College, Alonso coach Landy Faedo said.
Martinez, the Ravens’ leadoff hitter, was also an integral part of Alonso’s state title run. He hit .385 with 33 runs, seven doubles, two triples and 20 steals. He committed just four errors at shortstop and had a .955 fielding percentage. He also made the Saladino all-tournament team as a freshman and sophomore.
